on March 13, 2014I can't thank you enough for all the hard work and long hours you devoted to this project. This has has brought back such great memories for me that I thought would be lost forever. Though I moved on over 36 years ago I can never forget those years growing up in Amsterdam. It's difficult to see so many streets and even neighborhoods don't exist anymore. I still like the city though, always will. Some really good people. Mark's efforts are certainly worthy of recognition by the community. I will visit this site everytime I get the chance. Hello to anyone reading this that remembers me.

on March 13, 2014Progress? Maybe. I miss the "old city" as I knew it growing up. It was totally different city then but I guess that's been said many times. The downtown was really a place to look forward to going shopping on the week-ends, Friday nights and especially through the Christmas Holidays. At least we have the memories that come alive with these old photos. I look forward to new galleries. Thanks Mark.
